RCI: PRE CRR/ CRR Registration

1. PRE-CRR Registration (Pre–Central Rehabilitation Register)

PRE-CRR is a temporary / provisional registration given to a candidate after completing an RCI-recognized course but before final CRR registration.

Key Points:

* Given to fresh pass-out students

* Issued online through RCI portal

* Valid for a limited period (usually till final CRR is issued)

* Allows the candidate to work, do internship, or join services legally

* Not a permanent license

Required Documents for PRE CRR :

* 10th Certificate

* Authentication Certificate

* Photo

* Mail ID & Phone No.

2. CRR Registration (Central Rehabilitation Register)

CRR Registration is the final and permanent registration of a rehabilitation professional with RCI.

Key Points:

* Mandatory under RCI Act, 1992

* Required to practice legally as a rehabilitation professional

* A CRR Number is issued (unique & lifelong)

* Name is entered in Central Rehabilitation Register of India

* Needs periodic renewal (as per RCI norms)
